Lee Summit Middle School

Construction of a brand-new, state-of-the-art middle school for the LSR7 School District, completed as a mechanical and plumbing project with a total cost of 5.2M. Martin Mechanical served as the lead subcontractor alongside general contractor McCownGordon, delivering the project under budget and on schedule.

The Lee Summit Middle School project entailed the construction of a modern educational facility featuring a 150 VAV four-pipe system, 12 Daikin DX air handling units, and three 1,000 MBH Aerco boilers. Pumps and supporting equipment were strategically located in the central plant’s second-floor mezzanine to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency. As the lead mechanical and plumbing subcontractor, Martin Mechanical Contractors played a key role in successfully delivering this high-performance school facility.
