Oak Park HS Addition & Renovation

Oak Park Highschool’s new athletic facility and renovations were completed on time for the Fall 2021 school year. The facility enhances the fan experience with permanent bleachers, restrooms, concession stand, locker rooms, and a new press box. School renovations include a new workout room, entryway, six classrooms, and offices.

On this project, Martin Mechanical did BIM coordination, underground tie-in logistics, a 3 system VRF package with condensate, mechanical and plumbing, startup, and owner training for NKC schools. 

Mid-Continent Public Library: Woodneath

Martin Mechanical History

Founded in 1930, Ernie Martin and his company provided boiler-related services to homes and businesses in and around metropolitan Kansas City. Martin Mechanical was one of the few ASME R, PP qualified mechanical contractors in the area and an S & U stamp holder.

In 1990, under the new ownership of Mr. Jim Kafka, Martin Mechanical provided additional contracting opportunities by adding personnel with broader areas of expertise. Then in 1994, purchasing a small refrigeration contractor, venturing into another new field–Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration to provide service to local grocery stores, ice-cream manufacturers, and refrigerated warehouses. Martin Mechanical Inc. now has technical experts in the field of boilers, chillers, HVAC, process piping, and Hydronics.
